The Irish Theatre Project

The Irish Theatre Project is dedicated to producing premiere one act, Irish-themed plays, written by Columbus playwrights. Its first production, Under The Rainbow, was launched in 2002. The theatre troupe was initiated to serve a threefold mission:

1.) To fund the DOE college scholarship;

2.) To provide a cultural and educational forum to benefit the Columbus Community through the artistic voice of live theatre;

3.) To provide an artistic venue for Columbus playwrights and actors

It will have a return engagement at the Shamrock Club, October 22 – 23, 2004
